Italy-based eMa, an insulation and draining system manufacturer, will build a new facility in Kearneysville, West Virginia. The facility is a 42,000-sqft investment which will create 30 jobs. eMa’s mother company, TeMa, is the leading European producer of insulation/draining systems. West Virginia Department of Commerce, West Virginia Economic Development Authority, and the Jefferson County Development Authority were noted as highly effective groups during the investment process.
Foreign based SoftBox Systems, a temperature-control packaging company, will add 70 jobs with the addition of a US/Canada headquarters in Greenville, South Carolina. German Mauser Group will invest $10 million in a 40,000 sqft ‘industrial park’, creating 94 jobs in Geismar, Louisiana. The state of Louisiana assisted by offering Mauser LED FastStart, the state workforce development program. Germany-based Krones, a filling and packaging technologies manufacturer will open a new main facility in Ontario, California. Their previously central hub in the U.S. is location in Wisconsin. The number of added jobs to this plant is unspecified. Read More
