Italy-based eMa Plans Manufacturing Plant In West Virginia

Italy-based eMa, an insulation and draining system manufacturer, will build a new facility in Kearneysville, West Virginia. The facility is a 42,000-sqft investment which will create 30 jobs. eMa’s mother company, TeMa, is the leading European producer of insulation/draining systems. West Virginia Department of Commerce, West Virginia Economic Development Authority, and the Jefferson County Development Authority were noted as highly effective groups during the investment process.

Softbox Systems Locates U.S Headquarters In South Carolina

Foreign based SoftBox Systems, a temperature-control packaging company, will add 70 jobs with the addition of a US/Canada headquarters in Greenville, South Carolina. To incentivize the investment, Coordinating Council for Economic Development awarded a $200,000 Closing Fund grant to Greenville County. Read More

Germany-based Mauser Group Locates Logistics Hub In Louisiana

German Mauser Group will invest $10 million in a 40,000 sqft ‘industrial park’, creating 94 jobs in Geismar, Louisiana. The state of Louisiana assisted by offering Mauser LED FastStart, the state workforce development program. Mauser’s CEO mentioned being incentivized by Louisiana’s Quality Jobs and Industrial Tax Exemption program. Read More
