Siemens plans to add as many as 700 jobs at its Walpole plant

German industrial giant Siemens AG plans to expand its laboratory diagnostics manufacturing plant in Walpole, Massachusetts. The board voted to approve a $300 million expansion and the addition of 400 to 700 jobs over the next decade. The vote came after Massachusetts state officials awarded Siemens and Walpole a $4.2 million package of tax breaks, infrastructure outlays, and training grants. Read HERE
